Great for camouflaging your firearm!

I have had this on my .308 now for a couple of years and about 2000 rounds of ammo through it and still for the most part looks like the first day that I painted it except for in a few areas that have natural wear or flex areas (such as the rubber area in the buttstock that flexes). Just google camouflaging firearms to learn how to do it… very simple and does not take long.

Olive Drab Camouflage Paint

Similar in shade and flat finish to paint used on military vehicles and some equipment for many years (imagine a WW II jeep or tank). I bought it to repaint some old ammunition boxes. The boxes had some light rust and scratches. I wanted them to look good, but did not want to repaint the whole surface in many coats. For this purpose, this paint was excellent. It covered very well, went on easily and has the flat, no-gloss appearance I was seeking. It was fast-drying and is quite durable. It would also be good for modelers of military hardware. I recommend it. I don’t see how it could be better for the purposes mentioned, and this particular shade will not likely be available in your hardware store.

If the surface is prepared correctly, this stuff will only sand off. One of my friends used this on a black bolt action rifle stock and it is extremely durable.

Great Buy

I have been very pleased with these wall decals. They have been in my daughter’s room for about 6 months. I was worried there wouldn’t be very many stickers, but there was plenty to decorate my daughter’s room. When I first put them on the wall I made the mistake of putting the decals low enough on the wall where she could take them on and off. I was very impressed by how well they stood up to multiple remove & replaces by a 3 year old. They won’t last indefinitely, but you can definitely move them around if you need to. It is a good idea to put them up high if you have a small child that might want to peel them off. The color and size is great – very cute. They also have not done any damage to the wall. I am now looking at getting another set, this time boy-themed, for my little boy’s room.

Did not receive correct item

Just a warning that I did not receive the item in the description. Instead, I received Brewster Tonka Cars Trucks Wall Decals. This was not a huge problem for me because I was debating buying that product as well but I wanted to warn any potential buyers of the mix-up in case the item I received is a regular substitute for the Tonka Construction Fun Time Wall Stickers.

These decals are much smaller than I expected. Of course I have no way of knowing the size because dimensions are not posted in the listing. The only reference I could make was to compare them to the Brewster decals, which are much larger. Go ahead and order them, just don’t expect them to be large.

I ordered these stickers for the walls of my toddler son’s bedroom. I painted the bottom of the wall with rock and dirt colors and placed these wall stickers on top. The size and appearance of the stickers is great. The only thing I didn’t like was that these come with a white background while others have a clear background, so the white shows up against his green walls. Other than that, I liked them.

ReviewAnyone who enjoyed the hilarity of Pixar’s Finding Nemo movie will be tempted to pick up one of the two games that star everyone’s bestloved clownfish. Both games feature basi voice work by the great Nemo cast, including the pitch-perfect Albert Brooks, Willem Dafoe, and Ellen DeGeneres. Each game also has a selection of cut-scenes from the movies, shown when tasks are well done. The divergence among the two games is that Nemo’s Underwater World of Fun was formulated (says the box) for children four and over, and is by far the more elementary of the two Nemo titles.

In Nemo’s Underwater World of Fun, players have six mini-games to choose from, along with a section where kids may make music by clicking on members of the Tank Gang (Bubbles, Jacques, and the rest). In a section that resembles an ocean-bound Frogger, Nemo will have to swim with the turtles, avoiding obstacles and gathering items. Other activenesses include a shark-run shell game and a very difficult Pong-like segment called “Feeding Frenzy,” where Nemo has to bounce kelp balls off obstacles and walls to reach Bruce’s mouth.

Both Nemo games have two huge drawbacks. First, computer owners with less than state-of-the-art machines will experience stutter and delay when the movie segments appear (which will disappoint kids, so be sure to check the scheme necessaries carefully). Also, each game only offers regarding one hour of initial gameplay (kids who repeat subsections will, obviously, play longer).

Of the two games, Nemo’s Underwater World of Fun is the weaker, primarily because it doesn’t follow the ups and downs of the plot that made the movie so enjoyable. The age requisite, too, seems arbitrary: neither game teaches any queer instructional achievements (other than pattern matching and hand-eye coordination). For any individual over five, the other game, called merely Finding Nemo is a better choice. But both are loaded with the movie’s charms, including an aspect by our favored character, the sea turtle named Crush. Does every one have their exit buddy? I wish I could return it!

This is my opinion on Finding Nemo: Underwater world of fun. I bought this game for my 3 year old son thinking it would be worth the money. I really thought it was going to be as great as the movie. What a dissapoinment!!!! It’s too easy and the graphics are awful. My son was very excited at first but got bored quickly. There is not much to do, its very repeatable. This software supposed to be for kids 4-6, but I have no idea how 5 and 6 year old will continue to be interested after passing it once. I know there is another version rated for children 6 and up, but I’m not sure if I want to get it knowing how poor the graphics and sound are. There are much better games out there.

Finding Nemo is terrific!

My three year old loves playing “Finding Nemo” I love the educational, memory building games as well as the movie clips… a reward for completing 5 levels of play on each challenge. The feeding the shark ping-pong is a fun, slightly challenging game, and my son loves to swim with the sea turtles and play the “concentration”-type rock roll game. There is also a traditional “shell” game and a “simon”-like memory game in which you repeat shape patterns made by the moonfish. And of course, the highlight is the swimming with nemo adventures. I would highly recommend this software. It was easy to install and it’s easy to use. My son can play it all by himself, changing games as he likes. He really likes the independence.

WARNING: BIG EYE STRAIN!

I think the Finding Nemo Game has some good points: 1) superior graphics, 2) fun educational games that teach visual memory identification, pre-geometrical strategies and hand-eye coordination. BUT, the “Swim Challenge Game” is a huge eye strain! It cannot be stressed enough that this portion of the game NEEDS to be redesigned! Having the background moving constantly is extremely tiring, not to mention painful to ones’ eyes!

Better than most screening tools, but…

Screen Tight Roller-Knife Screening Tool

I previously used cheap screening tools, the kind with two 1/16″ wide steel rollers, one to press the screen into the spline slot, and the other to seat the spline.

This tool is better.

Pros:

- Tool has a 1/8″ wide concave nylon roller, which is twice the width of the old style tools. It pretty much stays on the spline as you’re rolling over it.

- Has a nice grip and your hand won’t slip off or down.

Cons:

- Would have been better if the roller was wider still.

- One end of the tool has a small hook knife to trim the screen or spline, which a utility knife, scissors, or snips will do just as well. Instead of a hook knife, the tool should have a convex (curved outward) roller to push the new screening into the frame’s spline slot. Hence, if using aluminum screening, you’ll need another tool to push the screen into the spline slot. Fiberglass screening is more flexible, so it’s easier to install than the stiffer aluminum screening.

- Tool comes with NO instructions (see “comment” below).

Summary:

This tool has a more appropriately sized spline roller than the cheaper screening tools (that have a 1/16″ wide concave roller). For that reason alone, it’s worth buying.
